the slut/wife

That night after I got rather high and he got rather excited that I was high, we were just entertaining ourselves with the bartender at Hoofed. Sitting at the bar, waiting for him to mix our drinks, we looked at the liquor pourers with amazement. If I didn't know better, I'd say we were both officially stoned/high though neither of us had any joint to begin with.

Evidently, anyone (or at least the both of us) liked the left one better as it was classy and shiny and modernistic unlike the right plasticky feel. Unfortunately, mr bartender begged to differ and would choose the plastic one anytime. Why, we wondered given the grace and beautiful of the steel one. Apparently, the plastic pourer is able to seal the opening of the bottle better, without spilling any alcohol out when they actually pourt it out while the steel one has a tendency to leak. Also, the flow from the plastic pourer is easier to control.

For some odd reason, my brain was on an intellectual high and said:

that's just like the slut and the wife

The both looked at me bewildered in unison and asked me how that conclusion came about. Simply because:

men want a wife who may not look good but at least she provides for the family, cares for the kids whereas the slut/mistress isn't expected to do all that but just look good for them to show off to their friends. 

Isn't that true?
